One of your close friends texts you that they want to meet with you and to do it ASAP. You know something is bothering them so you say okay and that you will meet them at Starbucks since you haven’t had your daily jolt of strong coffee. The two of you sit down at a table in one of the corners where no one else is seated. After some mindless chit-chat your friend looks down and quietly confides in you that his mom and dad are getting a divorce and he doesn’t know what to think or do. As you listen you throw in a comment or two about going to God in prayer, trusting that God is in control and that it will all work out. Without looking up your friend confesses that he doesn’t go to church nor does his family. You are shocked because you just assumed that he and they did. Now he begins asking you many religious and spiritual questions and the one he really wants to know is, “Who is Jesus Christ?”.
You take a sip of your Verona coffee and you say, “Well, Jesus Christ is…”.

After you submit then respond to two of your classmates. Note something from their posts and then comment on it. Don’t use responses like, “Great Job!”—“I agree!”—“I can’t add anything.”
